Why we built it
Most people buy a furnace or air conditioner once a decade. Quotes are hard to compare and price guides are often estimates. ActualPaid shows what people actually paid, from verified invoices.
How we stay independent
Contractors cannot pay to change results. Businesses can contribute data, but contributors cannot alter the statistics. Every published number shows its sample size and confidence.
Where we are
ActualPaid is based in Simcoe County, Ontario, and launching with HVAC prices in Ontario.
